Found a water leak outside our house coming somewhere from underground. I called Southern Plumbing on the same day & they were able to have one of their plumbers on our property the following day. He assessed the leak, had a solution and did his work to sort our leak out. Very happy with the service and the pricing.

A late night plumbing issue forced us to use Southern Plumbing after hours service. Finn answered our call and was onsite withing 20 minutes, made a temporary repair to give us water supply. Finn explained what he was doing and offered alternatives. He cleaned up the minimal but necessary mess and departed. We would use Southern Plumbing again.

I hired Southern Plumbing to correct the errors of the previous plumber as what started as a major job was becoming a nightmare. The house needed replumbing followed by renovations to the laundry and bathroom. I spoke with Ken who assured me that Jared (the young man who'd be assigned to the job) was more than capable, and he was right! Jared is a superb communicator who's comfortable suggesting areas for improvement when appropriate. He fixed the multitude of errors and finished incomplete jobs. At the end of each day he left a clean and tidy work space. I've gone from having lost faith in the industry to knowing that Southern Plumbing will be my first port of call for all future plumbing work required. Sincere thanks to Ken and Jared for your marvellous efforts on my behalf. I am now free to enjoy my renovated laundry and bathroom and, more importantly, I can luxuriate in my new shower. You're the best!

Highly recommend this company. After having multiple plumbers look at an ongoing issue with our flue over the years, this was the first time someone actually explained the cause in a way that made complete sense. Instead of just treating the symptoms, he identified the underlying issue and explained how regular maintenance would prevent it happening again. The plumber was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly without overcomplicating it. Communication from the office was excellent too. They responded quickly, followed up promptly, and kept us informed throughout the process. It's refreshing to find a company that's reliable, communicates well, and genuinely knows their stuff

Southern Plumbing replaced my dead gas mains pressure hot water cylinder with a new unit. The work carried out by Fin was to a high standard, much neater than the previous installation. The job including a new flue was completed in less than a day. Quoting the job then following up with the paperwork was handled efficiently.

George from Southern Plumbing visited our property to carry out a maintenance check on our central heating system, and we were extremely happy with the service provided. He was very patient, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. George did a fantastic job and made sure everything was checked thoroughly. Highly recommend Southern Plumbing and especially George for his excellent service.

Southern Plumbing has what is probably seen these days as an old fashioned style of responding to requests for help. A discussion sheet was presented outlining their proposed approach to the problem and cautions concerning possible limitations of the work. I was then contacted by the tradesman when he was on site for a direct discussion of what fault had been found and given the option of accepting a suggested remedy and what the associated cost implications might. The final invoice provided a detailed description of the work done and suggestions for additional work that might be necessary in the future. Some clients might not want to know these details but as someone who has considerable personal experience with maintenance work I find the degree of specific information provided very helpful and professional. I would highly recommend Southern Plumbing to anyone who wants to have a high level of confidence in remedial work on their property by a team that takes the time to involve the client throughout the process.

George arrived to sort out an issue with a gas stove. He quickly identified and fixed the issue. While he was there he cleaned the fittings and checked for any gas leaks. Given we were new to using gas he gave us very good advice about what to look for , where to turn the gas and water off etc.. His service was excellent and we really appreciated his friendly manner. Above and beyond what we expected.

Jordan from southern plumbing saved the day. We had a gas hob that is not working and Jordan came to fix it. Not only fixing it, Jordan checked everything else and even showed me how to shut off water and gas of there is an emergency. Jordan was speedy, puncture and friendly. I strongly recommend this company for any plumbing and gas needs.

George has been very helpful fixing my recent plumbing issues. The shower refresh with new door seals means no more leaking doors wetting the floor, and it makes my small bathroom room look heaps cleaner. For 2026 I am saving up to get a rainfall collection tank installed.

I have no hesitation in recommending Southern Plumbing to anyone requiring professional and reliable plumbing and gasfitting seevices.

I can't commend Southern Plumbing too highly. We had a tricky issue with a pipe supplying water and Finn, one of their young plumbers, dealt with the matter quickly and professionally. His interpersonal skills were outstanding. A pleasure to do business with this company. Roger Moses CNZM
